When Beyond Wonderland got canceled, we braced for the worst. When EDC Las Vegas got postponed, we accepted our fate. As Rotella now states that our fall festivals will also be postponed, we must let go. Only time will give us what we want now. 2020 hit the live entertainment industry hard, but now it is time for a reset. Hopefully, things get back up and running next year. So far, we have our future dates.
It certainly has been a year full of ups and downs, and we must continue to find positivity in the remainder of it. I know that with this extra time, the Insomniac team is working full force and has the best plans for next year. As we live vicariously through Insomniac TV, the new livestreams, and rave-a-thons, the very existence of music is something to be humble about.
The holidays will not be the same without Nocturnal, Escape: Psycho Circus, Dreamstate and Countdown, but we cannot lose hope. We must show our appreciation for all the countless memories we’ve had in the past with them. That way, we acknowledge that they are not forgotten and not alone. We know that they’ll bounce back bigger than ever and we can bring more friends, turn them into family.
When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change. I hope everyone is staying strong out there and around the world. We will be reunited on the dancefloor again. Now’s a good time to practice shuffling more than ever!
