SiriusXM Opens Miami Studios With John Summit & More

SiriusXM has announced the debut of its Miami studios to be led by a series of live broadcasts from Howard Stern on May 1st. 

The new location is based in Starwood Capital’s new headquarters at 2340 Collins Avenue in South Beach, featuring a 50-seat performance space and various studios. Aside from Stern, other programs set to broadcast from the new facilities include shows with Jon Bon Jovi, Andy Cohen, Jonas Brothers, Pitbull, and many others.

In addition to the new Miami Studios, SiriusXM plans to launch Hits Uno, a Spanish CHR channel on channel 321 that will feature top pop, reggaeton, dance, and viral LatinX music from around the globe. The channel will showcase prominent artists such as Bad Bunny, Becky G, Bizarrap, Camilo, Karol G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Sebastian Yatra, and others.

SiriusXM has announced that Howard Stern will host his renowned show in Miami to formally inaugurate the company’s newest cutting-edge broadcast complex, residing in the heart of trendy South Beach—an animated hub for culture, music, entertainment, and more. The three-day series of special shows by Stern from May 1st to May 3rd will mark his first-ever broadcasts from Miami, and herald a celebrity-studded week of programming live from SiriusXM Miami.

With 18 years of experience on SiriusXM, Howard Stern remains unmatched in the media industry, as his show provides unparalleled interviews and exclusive daily entertainment content unmatched by anyone else. The Howard Stern Show will broadcast live from the newly-constructed SiriusXM Miami studios between May 1st and May 3rd, where Stern will collaborate with special celebrity and music guests live in the studio.

As part of the official opening week of SiriusXM Miami, the schedule will be a packed with thrilling programs and performances across multiple SiriusXM channels, all originating from the cutting-edge South Beach complex. This will also introduce the premiere of Hits Uno, a fresh Latin Pop channel.

Inspired by Miami’s diverse musical culture and heritage, the exclusive programing will showcase some of the most prominent names in Latin music, such as Anitta, Becky G, Carlos Vives, and Pitbull. LL COOL J will host a special edition of Salute The Sample for Rock The Bells Radio, focusing on local hip-hop talent in Miami. Other notable participants include Andy Cohen, Bailey Zimmerman, John Summit, Jon Bon Jovi, Jonas Brothers, Tinx, and many others.

Hits Uno (ch. 321) will premiere from SiriusXM’s Miami studios, showcasing the top pop, reggaeton, dance, and viral LatinX music from around the world. Listeners can anticipate chart-topping hits from prominent artists like Bad Bunny, Becky G, Bizarrap, Camilo, Karol G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Sebastian Yatra, and many more.

The newly opened SiriusXM Miami, located at 2340 Collins Avenue – Starwood Capital’s Miami Beach headquarters, features a 50-seat performance area, several artist-first radio and recording studios, and a spacious office area. It is an innovative facility that will allow for unique and exceptional programming and content.

SiriusXM Miami’s entire program will be accessible to subscribers of SiriusXM in their vehicles and on the SXM App. Additionally, Howard Stern will broadcast live from Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 3. The full details of the forthcoming events in May for SiriusXM Miami are yet to be announced.

Tuesday, May 2 

Andy Cohen Live: Andy Cohen to host a special edition of his daily SiriusXM show live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Cohen to be joined by special guests including Jon Bon Jovi.

Andy Cohen Live airs weekdays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am ET on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy (ch. 102). 

Pitbull Interview: Pitbull will sit down for an interview with DJ Ka5 and Racquel Goldy on his exclusive SiriusXM channel, Pitbull’s Globalization. Pitbull will discuss his new single Jumpin featuring Lil Jon, new bi-lingual album and surprise upcoming mega tour.

Pitbull’s interview to air on SiriusXM’s Pitbull’s Globalization(ch. 13). 

Thursday, May 4

Off The Grid Radio with John Summit: John Summit will play an exclusive DJ set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. The special performance will launch John Summit’s new monthly show on Diplo’s Revolution.

Friday, May 5 

Jonas Brothers Hits 1 Celebrity Session: Jonas Brothers will perform an exclusive and intimate set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Hosted by Hits 1 Miami’s Mack & Jen, the special event will feature a sit-down interview as well as the Jonas Brothers performing music from their new album The Album, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 12.

SiriusXM Hits 1 Celebrity Session with Jonas Brothers to air on SiriusXM Hits 1 (ch.2) on Friday, May 12 at 12:00 pm ET and PT.  

Becky G Town Hall: An intimate conversation with Becky G in front of an audience of subscribers and fans at the SiriusXM Miami studios. Becky G will be discussing her first album of regional Mexican music and more.

SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Becky G will air on SiriusXM’s Caliente (ch. 151) on Friday, May 19 at 1:00 pm ET and on Hits Uno (ch. 321) on Friday, May 19 at 5:00 pm ET.

Salute The Sample “Miami Edition” on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio: LL COOL J, DJ Z-Trip and Greg Nicehost a special Miami edition of Salute The Sample with DJ KhaledUncle LukeTrick Daddy, and Trina. The show will break down some of their songs and the samples they came from.

Salute The Sample will air on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio (ch. 43) Saturday, June 3 for All City Day – Miami.

Additionally, SiriusXM will have weekend long coverage of the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX on May 6 and 7. On Saturday, May 6, SiriusXM will air live coverage of qualifying starting at 4pm ET followed by a live episode of Speed City F1, hosted by Jon Massengale, Bob Varsha, and Jonathan Green. On Sunday, May 7, SiriusXM will air the race live from start to finish. Pre-race coverage starts at 2:30 pm ET. SiriusXM’s F1 programming airs on channel 81 and on the SXM App.
