Marking his third release to date, San Diego-based producer Jack Emery unveils his enchanting Halo EP on Purified Records, featuring three meticulously crafted tracks: Halo, Above The Clouds, and Rays Of Hope.

Following his debut on the label in 2023 with Believe and his 2024 follow-up EP Fickle Heart, Jack continues to carve out a unique space in the melodic house scape. With his classical training and a flair for merging orchestral influences with electronic beats, the Halo EP highlights his ability to blend introspection and energy seamlessly.

The title track, Halo, opens the EP with indie-drench vocal lines that drift over a serene arrangement, creating an atmosphere that feels intimate and expansive. With its soft, glowing tones, the track invites listeners to pause and reflect, capturing the delicate balance between calm and wonder. Above The Clouds shifts the mood with vibrant synth melodies and an infectious rhythm, exuding a playful and nostalgic spirit that carries an uplifting momentum. Closing the EP, Rays Of Hope explores a deeper emotional range, starting with a pensive, atmospheric build before soaring into a triumphant apex moment.

Having earned support from the likes of Sultan + Shepard, Sirius XM Chill, and global festivals and gatherings such as ULTRA Europe and Amsterdam Dance Event, Jack Emery continues to shine with his latest Halo EP, offering a rich and emotionally resonant listening experience that speaks to his growing artistry.

The ‘Halo’ EP artwork hosts a photograph taken by Kelsey Williamson, an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

There’s a pass in the South Pacific, off the island of Fakarava in French Polynesia, where the underwater world thrives—particularly for sharks. Known as “The Wall of Sharks,” this pass is renowned for the hundreds of grey reef sharks that hunt at night and drift with the current during the day. Nearby, there’s a remarkable coral reef called the Magic Carpet Ride, which houses a vibrant ecosystem now facing the increasing threat of coral bleaching. Despite being relatively free of agricultural runoff, the reef is slowly deteriorating, which underscores a sobering reality: if a place like this is struggling, it highlights a serious global issue we must address.
