Countdown Campout Moves To Orlando and Removes Camping

This year’s inaugural east coast Countdown festival will be moving away from its initial location of Sunset Grove. What was first meant to be a camping event will now be making landfall in Orlando as a normal event.

According to an update made by Insomniac Events, the change was made due to “human staffing issues, Earth logistics, and the fact that [the aliens] decided [they] don’t like camping anymore.” However, the Countdown event will still be hosted for its promised two days and will hold the same lineup. Artists such as Zhu, Kayzo, deadmau5, and SLANDER are expected to perform.

Current ticketholders will be receiving a major upgrade due to this change. GA passholders will be bumped up to VIP while VIP ticketholders will receive an additional ticket. Those who purchased camping add-ons will be refunded in full.

Those who are unable to attend the festival or choose not to go due to its change in camping status will have the chance to refund until November 29, 2021, with a processing time of 3-4 weeks.

GA and VIP tickets will go on sale Thursday, November 19. For more details on ticket prices, the new location, and refunds, make sure to visit the official website
