Berlin Venue Arena Encourages Vaccinations With 3 Free Vax Parties

The Berlin Venue Arena club is currently hosting three free vaccination parties with very interesting lineups. All you need to do to participate is head to the club and get one of the offered vaccines. After that, you can dance many hours to the rhythm of the beats.

The parties are happening on August 9, 11, and 13. These will include from a number of Berlin-based DJs such as Nick Höppner, Tama Sumo, Hennig Baer and Sammy Dee. Attendees will get a dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine. They will not need an identity card to receive the vaccination.

The Berlin clubbing network, Club Commission, announced the events via Instagram. The post caption reads:

Get a free Biontech vaccination during the Berlin Vaccination Nights, alongside a DJ lineup that’s festival worthy. Since the start of the year many DJs and other cultural workers have been working in the vaccination centers in Berlin, for them, it’s the best way to help them get back to doing what they love

The Arena, a large, multi-room space, has been in use as a vaccination center since December. This place started its life as a spacious bus depot on the Spree, but was reborn after reunification as a concert and event space – and now vaccination center. The location’s size means it’s possible to create a club-like atmosphere and adhere to corona regulations.

These Berlin Vaccination parties, in addition to being a good incentive to get a shot, is part of a movement of various entertainment centers to resume activities. Some Berlin nightclubs recently announced trial events with unmasked people and non-distanced crowds this weekend. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for Germans to get out there and enjoy the good old days a bit. Above all, with the great restrictions of the country when presenting a negative COVID-19 test or a vaccination certificate in many spaces.
