Kat Kennedy released ‘Bittersweet’ back in May and when I heard it recently, I had to share it. The words really stuck with me.
Kat wrote this song after a break-up, and I’m currently healing from one, and what she sings really puts things into perspective.
She sings:
I know that soon I’ll be a memory
But can I pretend for now you’ll never be
Every party has to end
But I’ll still do it all again.
As Kat says, it’s about learning to accept that it can hurt, and you can still be glad it happened. And I needed to hear this song, and I’m sure many of you will need it too.
