Romford rapper French The Kid returns today with his cinematic new single ‘Thrill’ – out now via Virgin.
Over an eerie backdrop of strings and keys, ‘Thrill’ sees the versatile artist flex intense bars intertwined with vocals before closing out with a melancholic bridge delivered in French. ‘Thrill’ is accompanied by a potent, atmospheric video shot entirely on film by director Teeezy, that features French set against vignettes of quintessential suburban British life.
‘Thrill’ follows the recent ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, ‘Essex Boys’ and comes in a year that has seen the rapper step up to the booth for one of the most viewed Daily Duppy debuts of all time.
Just 21 years old, French spent his teens in South West France before returning to the UK at 18 to take the music industry by storm. Since smashing onto the scene with his debut single just 2 years ago, French The Kid has amassed a cult following, millions of streams and delivered iconic viral freestyles that have propelled him to prominence.
‘Thrill’ marks just a taste of what’s to come from French this year.
