Australian artist Pat Mac drops the uplifting debut EP titled Wait On. This stunning collection of five songs among which the previously released “Hollow,” is as good as it gets in terms of pop-punk.
The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who still plays on the guitar that he inherited from his father, has surely found his voice and style in the game, with a subtle balance, rich textures and timeless messages.
There’s a striking consistency throughout the EP, and yet Pat Mac manages to alternate between higher energy tracks and softer songs that resemble ballads more than other heavier punk tracks like the dynamic “Hollow.”
Pat Mac grew-up listening to his father play old classic rock songs on his acoustic guitar. Besides being a singer-songwriter, Pat Mac is also a skilled multi-instrumentalist who plays the guitar and drums.
