Tomorrowland has officially joined forces with global crypto platform KuCoin in a major three-year strategic deal spanning 2026–2028. As the festival’s Official Exclusive Crypto Exchange and Crypto Payments Partner, KuCoin has set a new standard for brand integration, most notably through the creation of the immersive Celestia stage.
The Celestia Stage Experience
During the second weekend of Tomorrowland Belgium, the Celestia stage served as a focal point for the festival’s 9th-anniversary celebrations. The stage hosted a stellar lineup of electronic music heavyweights, including Mark Knight, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Belters Only, Bingo Players, Dada Life, Sander van Doorn, and a high-energy b2b set from Dannic and Dyro.
The Celestia Stage isn’t just sponsored by KuCoin—it was co-created to bring together technology, culture and community through a shared experience. This was never intended to be just a branded stage—it was a true creative collaboration between KuCoin and Tomorrowland. Celestia is more than a stage name. It represents curiosity, transformation and the courage to explore what’s next.
-Sabina Liu, Managing Director of KuCoin
Sabina Liu emphasized that the collaboration was rooted in shared values rather than simple sponsorship. By focusing on community engagement, the partnership aimed to create a space where festival-goers could connect and discover new experiences. This vision was brought to life by the “KuCoin Guardians,” interactive guides who roamed the festival grounds to foster a sense of discovery among attendees.
Technological Integration and Future Outlook
Beyond the physical stage, the partnership integrates digital utility into the festival journey. Attendees were introduced to next-gen payment solutions, including the limited-edition KuCard, which allowed for seamless transactions across food, beverage, and merchandise vendors. Furthermore, the KuCoin App provided exclusive livestreams for fans worldwide, ensuring that the energy of the festival reached a global audience.
Looking ahead, the multi-year collaboration is set to evolve. With plans to expand into Tomorrowland Winter and beyond, the partnership aims to explore how digital assets and blockchain technology can further enhance the live event experience. As Liu noted, the goal is to build a foundation that allows for deeper community engagement and more immersive, memorable activations in the years to come.
