During his upbringing in Egypt, Fathi Saleh developed a strong musical foundation, establishing the creative framework that continues to anchor his perspective and approach to electronic music. With formal training on the violin and piano, his awareness of the theory behind music strengthens his approach, providing the technical skillset for him to lean upon as he continues to refine his identity as a DJ and producer. Inspired early on by the world of electronic music, initiated into its expansive landscape through house and trance, he took to DJing, performing across the local scene, from nightclubs to house parties and school socials. It was upon discovering the sounds of top names within the genre, such as David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia, that he decided to immerse himself in production. Now, operating under the alias of ALTRIGO, he works to build on his journey so far, delving into new genres while still maintaining the same passion and enthusiasm that first led him into the scene.

Having returned to his birthplace, Los Angeles, to fully engage with music production and attend masterclasses to refine his technical skillset, it was here that the ALTRIGO sound started to take shape. Motivated by the work emanating from labels like Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats, ALTRIGO initially channelled his focus into progressive trance, later expanding into house to develop his own artistic signature. Remaining influenced by the demands of the dancefloor, he continues to shape a sound geared for club settings; encouraging listeners to lose themselves in the groove, he crafts experiences where energy and emotion combine. As he blends nostalgic undertones with a contemporary edge, ALTRIGO dedicates himself to building a creative world that reflects his artistic vision, ambitions, and evolving perspective.
