Sweat It Out Launches First-Ever Amsterdam Writing Camp at ADE

Sweat It Out is set to pioneer the first-ever Amsterdam Writing Camp, running from October 20–22, 2025 during Amsterdam Dance Event. Curated by KLP (Kristy Lee Peters), the label’s Head of Publishing and A&R, the camp will spotlight Australian talent on an international stage while fostering global creative exchange.

Across three days, more than 47 artists will collaborate across eight world-class studios. Australian producers including Crooked Colours, Juno Mamba, Soul Wun, ASTA, and Sippy will join forces with international names such as Chaney, Deeper Purpose, TCTS, Stevie Appleton, VNSSA, and Quarterhead.

“We’re creating a space that connects Australian creators with the global music community in a meaningful, high-level way,” says KLP. “It’s more than a writing camp—it’s a platform for future-shaping collaborations and real industry access.”

Adding to the lineup is Airwolf Paradise, winner of the Sweat It Out writing camp competition. Known for releases on Higher Ground, Trick, Diynamic, and Three Six Zero Recordings, the prolific producer has also remixed heavyweights like Calvin Harris and Dom Dolla, with appearances at Lollapalooza (Chicago), Elements Festival (Pennsylvania), Hi Ibiza, and London’s Drumsheds.

Partners for the camp include Kobalt Music Group, Payday, and Gallery Recordings, alongside Telepathic Instruments, founded by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and Plugin Boutique, one of the industry’s leading software distributors. In collaboration with Telepathic Instruments, artists will also have access to Orchid, the brand’s innovative chord-generating synthesizer, celebrated for selling out within minutes of its global drops.

A cornerstone of Australia’s electronic scene, Sweat It Out has been instrumental in launching the careers of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Dom Dolla, What So Not, and Purple Disco Machine. Their initiatives include the EQUAL Writing Camp with Spotify, platforming under-represented voices in the music industry, and past sessions featuring talents like Ninajirachi, Big Wett, Thandi Phoenix, and PARIS.

“Very excited to host our first Amsterdam songwriters camp,” adds Jamie Raeburn, CEO of Sweat It Out. “Bringing so many talented Australian writers to work with some of our favourite international artists has been long on the to-do list. Our ADE parties have hosted some of the biggest names in the dance scene in their early stages—hopefully we replicate that in the studio.”

To close the inaugural Amsterdam Writing Camp, Sweat It Out will host an exclusive industry mixer, celebrating the collaborations, talent, and spirit of innovation that continue to define the label.
