Veerus Returns To Drumcode With 3

Veerus is back at it again, and we couldn’t be more excited. While it has been well over a year since we last wrote about him here at EDMTunes, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy. For proof of this, look no further than his recent 3-track EP, titled ‘System’. The EP marks his third release on Adam Beyer’s own label, Drumcode. In the past, we’ve seen him release ‘Hypnosis/Apocalypse’ on Drumcode, as well as ‘Prophecy‘, even further back. Today, we bring you his new ‘System’ EP!

Veerus starts ‘System’ off quickly with the eponymously named track, ‘System’. It hits hard and quick with deep acid vibes, and definitely sets the tone for the remainder of the EP. ‘Year’ is centered around a blistering bassline and culminates at the drop, which we hear at 4:01. This is the type of track that I can’t wait to hear live at the next warehouse rave (whenever the current state of affairs blows over). The final track on the EP is ‘Pyramid’, and I honestly think its the perfect way to wrap it up. After giving it a listen, I think its best if you check it out for yourself – you won’t regret it.

Between the three tracks on ‘System’, the average run time is about 7 minutes and 20 seconds or so. That said, each track is more than enough to get you grooving. And altogether, even more so. If you’re looking for some new music this quarantine season, a lover of all things Drumcode, or just into techno, then ‘System’ by Veerus is definitely for you.

Veerus’ new 3-track EP ‘System’ is out now, on Drumcode, and can be streamed below. Enjoy!
