A month into lockdown, we couldn’t be more grateful for technology. From online games to Zoom calls, there’s plenty to keep us occupied. One day in the near future, we’ll even get to experience virtual clubbing! Because announced yesterday, technology company Sensorium Corporation will be partnering with Yann Pissenem, the brains behind Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza. Together, they will “recreate the clubbing scene in the virtual space of Sensorium Galaxy“.

The project aims to provide users with the ultimate nightlight experience via 3D social virtual reality. For a project as such, Pissenem was certainly the right choice with his unique expertise and experience. As explained by Brian Kean, CCO of Sensorium Corporation, “Pissenem is one of the key figures to have shaped the world’s modern clubbing landscape; and today over three million people a year are attracted to his projects in Ibiza.” Indeed, both Hï and Ushuaïa have been recognised as the World’s Best Club by the International Nightlife Association.

Other Players in the Project
As part of the partnership, Pissenem will also be bringing on board ten major EDM talents to further the project’s goal of bringing the best of the global club scene to millions around the world. Other players in the project also include London-based creative and production studio High Scream. High Scream has worked with the industry’s biggest names including David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Martin Garrix. To tie it all together, the studio has also been responsible for the stage productions at none other than Hï and Ushuaïa.
