Shambhala Music Festival is taking no chances of postponement again in 2021. Their 23rd edition announces their official return for August 20-23, 2021. Originally, they had hoped to reunite with the “Farmily” in July. This change is to ensure ample time for preparation of the festival and prepare for the uncertainty of next year.
About Next Year
Though, attendees will still be able to return to the same family farm as they have always done. The lush, vast farm lands of the Salmo River Ranch await those that have loyally and eagerly waited. Current ticket holders have the option to return for 2021, 2022, or 2023. For more ticketing information, you can visit their website here.
At this time, it is too early for a lineup but we hope that it returns with triumph. 2020 would have seen Rezz, Richie Hawtin, Tycho, and deadmau5. Previous headliners included Anna Lunoe, Anti Up, Chris Lake, Zhu, AC Slater, Griz, Jauz, Kaskade, and more. Excision, Rusko, Zeds Dead, Marque Wyatt join in on the fun also. Silk City (Diplo and Mark Ronson), Troyboi, and many others reigned in their 22nd edition. All the bases of house and dubstep, plus everything in between is covered.
It will be interesting to see how music festivals return next year given the pandemic restrictions. The event team looks forward to hosting their fans once again. For more than two decades, SMF has broken ground in creating the perfect home away from home. With yoga, artist workshops, delectable food options, and synergy, many have made this an annual tradition.
Where It Began
The evolution of the festival transformed from a 500 family gathering to a 15,000 person unparalleled experience. Their motto remains to be an adventure is out there. Get lost with your friends on the Farm or find stillness in the wilderness. No matter your journey, take a pause and a deep breath as you enter the Shambhala world.
It’s been a wild year filled with a roller coaster of emotions, but we eagerly await a new one.
