Leading the charge is EJAE, whose work appears in five categories—most notably Song of the Year for “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. Her role as lead songwriter and vocalist on the project pushed the track to global acclaim, ultimately landing a #1 Billboard Hot 100 placement. “Golden” also scored nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Song Written for Visual Media, Best Remixed Recording for the David Guetta remix, and a spot within the soundtrack’s nod for Best Compilation for Visual Media.
Also recognized in the Best Compilation for Visual Media field is F1 The Album, featuring contributions from A1 LaFlare, Kevo, and Shae Jacobs, with notable co-writes on Burna Boy’s “Don’t Let Me Drown” and Don Toliver’s “Lose My Mind,” which includes vocals from Doja Cat.
Haitian-American artist, producer, and songwriter Fridayy continues his momentum with multiple nominations. His single “Proud of Me” featuring Meek Mill earned a nod for Best Melodic Rap Performance, while his contributions appear throughout Glorilla’s Best Rap Album nominee Glorious and Lecrae’s Best Contemporary Christian Music Album nominee Reconstruction.
In the Americana space, Maggie Rose celebrates a nomination for Best Americana Performance with “Poison in My Well,” her collaboration with Grace Potter.
The publisher’s presence is also felt in Best Progressive R&B Album, with contributions on Terrace Martin & Kenyon Dixon’s Come As You Are via Dominique Sanders, and on FLO’s Access All Areas thanks to co-producer and co-writer Sean Small.
Internationally, AC is included among nominees for Best Latin Pop Album with work on Alejandro Sanz’s Y ahora que?. Meanwhile, award-winning Argentine duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso scored a nomination for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album for Papota, which features multiple songs shaped by Gino The Ghost.
In Dance/Electronic, Tobias Wincorn earns recognition for his contributions to Fred again..’s ten days, nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album. For Best Global Music Album, Burna Boy’s No Sign Of Weakness includes work from Bantu, Kevo, and Nick Bailey.
Country also sees strong representation, with Anderson East’s production contributions on Lukas Nelson’s American Romance and Morgan Nagler’s songwriting on Margo Price’s Hard Headed Woman, both nominated for Best Traditional Country Album. In engineering, Nick Lobel is recognized for co-producing and co-writing Cam’s All Things Light, nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
