German multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer Monolink today releases his new single “In My Place”, the latest offering from his forthcoming third studio album, The Beauty Of It All, which is set for global release on September 26, 2025 via Embassy One.
A deeply energetic and emotionally charged track underpinned by shuffling rhythms, subdued vocals and a warped central riff, “In My Place” originated as an impromptu synth jam between Monolink and producer Toby Siebert, and evolved organically into what is now a largely live-recorded one-take.
“This track started as a synth jam with Toby Siebert and the final song is pretty much a live recording of that session,” Monolink explains. “I still really enjoy listening to it because there was so much energy in the room and I still feel it instantly when I put this song on.”
That energy is the heartbeat of “In My Place”; a pulsing, emotionally resonant cut that swells with analog warmth and unfiltered spontaneity. It’s the latest preview from his upcoming album The Beauty Of It All, due in September, and follows previously released album singles “Mesmerized”, “Powerful Play”, and “Avalanche”.

The Beauty Of It All marks a new creative chapter for Monolink (aka Steffen Linck), delving into themes of impermanence, beauty and human connection. Described as his most personal and introspective work to date, the album was conceived in the solitude of rural Germany, where Steffen returned to his roots to craft a sound that is both timeless and emotionally resonant.
“For this album I went back to where it all began, to the countryside in Germany,” Monolink says. “Surrounded by nature and stillness. It turned into the most personal music I’ve made. A reflection of everything that’s brought me here. The beauty of joy, and of pain. The Beauty Of It All.”

Coinciding with the album release, Monolink has also recently announced a major European tour for fall 2025, bringing The Beauty Of It All to life on stage in some of the continent’s most iconic venues. Known for his captivating live performances that blend electronic instrumentation with live vocals and guitar, Monolink’s shows are renowned for blurring the boundary between concert and electronic set, transforming introspective, emotional music into immersive live experiences.
