Martin Garrix Will Play New Set From Dutch Waters on May 5th

Martin Garrix is playing the Quarantine-streaming game and playing it to the fullest, coming up with a creative scene for viewers—he’s playing on boats. After a successful run with his first stream back in mid-April, the Dutch producer just announced a new DJ set coming next week, on Tuesday, May 5th.

Martin Garrix boat DJ Set

The news was first shared by Garrix via Instagram earlier this week. In the video story, he revealed that he had 3 new streams coming, including his Kingsday DJ set from the roof of A’dam Tower. Garrix continued on, asking his followers to vote and choose the type of sets they wanted next. He was curious as to whether they preferred a classic Garrix aggressive/EDM style or a more chilled-out version.

It is worth noting that the DJ set has already been recorded, as shown on Garrix’s Instagram. Surrounded by 20 other boats, we see the Dutch producer DJing while “Scared To Be Lonely (Funkin Matt Remix)” is playing.

Seeing the location of this DJ set and the story poll results, it is very likely that we will get the chilled-out and melodic option. This reminds us of the first hour of the great BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix done by Garrix 5 years ago.

The set will go live on May 5th starting at 7 PM CEST on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitch.
