John Summit Remixes deadmau5 & Kaskade’s ‘I Remember’

An update made its way to the legendary track, from the hands of one of the most prominent artists of the moment.

Once upon a time, long before Kx5 existed, two producers came together for a little song called ‘I Remember‘. And that first deadmau5 and Kaskade track turned out to be remembered by fans and non-fans alike as a unanimously acknowledged hymn of the EDM sound. The track, originally featured on deadmau5’ seminal album random album title, was bound to have a remix come out at some point.

Some days ago, deadmau5 teased a little, letting a tiny leak of a new remix see the public light. And just as fast as that video came by, now we have the complete version of said remix. Here comes ‘I Remember (John Summit Remix)‘.

It was truly the track that made me fall in love with dance music and kick off this whole journey for me, so to remix it 15 years later is a huge full-circle moment.

I Remember (John Summit Remix)

Following his official remix of Kx5’s ‘Escape‘ and the release of his very own ‘Where You Are‘, both tracks featuring Hayla, Summit brings a fresh, celestial rhythm to the nostalgic anthem. Lofty synths and deep reverb create a larger-than-life remix of this iconic track.

Press play and get ready to be blown away by Summit’s infectious style. Haley Gibby‘s vocals pair really, really well with the Tech House sound this man is known for. Add to his signature groove a hefty amount of melody, evolving pads, and the aura and spirit of a track we probably all have listened to. This remix truly has no flaw: it took something already great and elevated it even more. How? We don’t know. All we know is, that’s John Summit for you folks!
