Inside Club Darc: San Francisco’s Next Warehouse Destination for Electronic Music

Club Darc, San Francisco’s new seasonal venue, is set to take over Pier 48’s Shed A with Chris Stussy, Mau P, Peggy Gou, Brown Angel, Skiis, DJ Seinfeld, and more.

San Francisco is getting a new venue, and it’s arriving with intention. Club Darc has officially been announced as a new seasonal venue set to take over Pier 48‘s Shed A on select weekends from Friday, February 27 – Saturday, May 16.

The 85,000-square-foot warehouse, situated in the Mission Rock neighborhood adjacent to Oracle Park, will host its first-ever series of electronic music events, marking another milestone in the city’s thriving nightlife culture. Brought to you in partnership by Goldenvoice and Giants Enterprises, the first wave of shows has already been revealed, featuring local and global heavyweight talent. Among them are Chris Stussy, Mau P, Peggy Gou, Brown Angel, Michael Bibi, Skiis, DJ Tennis b2b DJ Seinfeld, The Martinez Brothers, Armand Van Helden, Ben Sterling, Silva Bumpa, and Miguelle & Tons. Even more artists are set to be announced.

The news lands at a moment when San Francisco’s dance music culture is growing with intention. After years of venue closures, pandemic era disruption, and shifting nightlife habits, the city has seen renewed investment in electronic music. From DIY parties led by community-forward collectives to large-scale productions like Portola Music Festival, Pier 80 events, and EMPIRE-led takeovers, these moments continue to evolve the city’s nightlife culture. Club Darc is poised to help build that momentum.

Produced between Goldenvoice and Giants Enterprises, the entrepreneurial arm of the San Francisco Giants, Club Darc will transform Shed A into a seasonal club environment. Goldenvoice brings deep experience from major festivals and tours, while Giants Enterprises contributes local expertise and access to one of the city’s most prominent waterfront locations.

“We’re very excited to bring yet another new dance music experience to the Bay Area with Club Darc,” said Danny Bell, Club Darc Founder and SVP Talent Buyer at Goldenvoice. “Pier 48’s Shed A is the perfect venue to bring this vision to life — working alongside our partners at the SF Giants, our goal is to further the mission of making San Francisco a global hub for electronic music.”

The venue itself is a major part of the appeal. Shed A will feature a single-stage setup with immersive production, high ceilings, expansive open-floor space, and state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities. The industrial warehouse format allows for flexibility in layout and design. It’s a setting that recalls the raw energy of European club culture while remaining distinctly Bay Area.

Club Darc also builds on the success of Portola, Goldenvoice’s two-day festival held at nearby Pier 80, which helped reestablish San Francisco’s waterfront warehouses as viable homes for electronic music. Together, these projects point to a broader strategy: treating the city not as a flyover stop between Los Angeles and Seattle, but as a destination in its own right.

“We’re incredibly proud to see Pier 48’s Shed A evolve into a true music destination on San Francisco’s waterfront,” said Sara Grauf, Senior Vice President of the San Francisco Giants. “Club Darc marks an exciting opportunity to activate the historic Pier 48 with vibrant and diverse new programming.”

While San Francisco is often observed for what it’s lost, Club Darc shows that the city’s nightlife is not only alive, but evolving. By pairing global talent with local roots, and warehouse intimacy with large-scale vision, Club Darc signals where the city’s dance culture is headed next.

Tickets for all confirmed shows go on sale Wednesday, January 28, at 10 am PT on the Club Darc website. Fans can register now for the presale.
