Join Miss Monique and cycling stars Taylor Phinney and Zdenek Stybar at Bridges For Music’s IMS Ibiza Cycle on April 23 to empower youth in underserved communities.
Bridges For Music is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young talents from underserved communities in South Africa through mentorship, education, and cultural exchange. Through spaces like the Bridges Academy in Langa, Cape Town, the organization cultivates a safe, collaborative environment where learning extends beyond the classroom.
Over the years, Bridges For Music has translated this mission into a series of global fundraising initiatives, including the IMS Ibiza Cycle, which returns for its third edition on April 23. Powered by AlphaTheta and presented in partnership with International Music Summit (IMS) Ibiza, the event will see Ukrainian DJ and producer Miss Monique ride alongside former professional cyclist Taylor Phinney and five-time Cyclo-cross World Champion and Grand Tour stage winner Zdenek Stybar. A unique convergence of sports, music, and global culture, the ride will bring together an international community of artists and athletes, united by purpose, resilience, and a shared mission to make an impact.
For Miss Monique, the event is deeply personal. Having been forced to leave her homeland and now based in Lisbon, she has long championed charities that foster unity and resilience. Through the IMS Ibiza Cycle, she channels her energy and platform into meaningful service and giving back.
Having the opportunity to be a part of the Bridges for Music bike ride in Ibiza fills my heart with the same electric energy I feel behind the decks: it’s pure connection and movement in motion. Riding to support Bridges for Music is more than a fundraiser, it’s a powerful reminder that when we unite our passion, we can build real bridges and create opportunities that change lives, through music.
Miss Monique
Beyond the ride itself, participants will enjoy a full day of movement and connection. They will engage with professional ride leaders, gain access to exclusive rider gear, explore the IMS Ibiza programming, and experience the highly anticipated closing celebration at Dalt Vila. It serves as a reminder that the three-day summit is more than just conferences and networking sessions; it is equally focused on wellness, culture, and community building.
Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or a novice, you can be part of this purposeful fundraising event. Riders can choose between two routes, 60km and 100km, to suit their level of experience. Sign up now to join the cause, or if you’re unable to participate, you can still support the charity by donating via the IMS Ibiza Cycle website.
