Canadian musician and artist Grimes has always been known for her innovative and experimental style. Now, it seems that she is taking her creativity to the next level by going all-in on artificial intelligence (A.I.).
Rumors started spreading when Grimes wiped her Twitter account, leaving behind only a cryptic message that read: “I love you, keep going.” Some fans speculated that this was a sign that she was delving deeper into the world of A.I.
However, it’s unclear whether Grimes herself deleted her Twitter account or if it was done by the social media platform. Nevertheless, her Twitter account has since been restored, but the reason for its temporary disappearance remains a mystery.
“I think A.I. is the fastest path to communism,” she said. “If implemented correctly, A.I. could theoretically solve for abundance. Like, we could totally get to a situation where nobody has to work, everybody is provided for with a comfortable state of being, comfortable living.“
Grimes is also exploring the use of A.I. in her music. In 2018, she collaborated with a startup called Endel to create an A.I.-powered album called AI Lullaby. The album is designed to help listeners relax and fall asleep by using algorithms to create personalized soundscapes.
