Above & Beyond Cancels Acoustic III Tour for 2020

One would think our fun-loving selves would be resilient to the despair of event cancellations by now. That is clearly not the case. Earlier today, fans were hit with the official announcement that Above & Beyond will be cancelling their Acoustic III tour for 2020. There’s always a silver lining though. The highly revered trio are “working with promoters and venues to reschedule as many shows as possible”.

That said, some shows where rescheduling isn’t an option would have to be cancelled. As of now, these include Washington DC, Cleveland, Dallas, Austin and Red Rocks. Ticket holders to these shows will be entitled to a refund. Meanwhile, ticket holders to rescheduled shows have been asked to be patient for further updates as the team works with ticketing partners to offer suitable refund options.

It’s certainly been a rough first quarter to the year, with major summer festivals up to three months away (e.g. Tomorrowland) already postponed or cancelled. Nonetheless, the current situation has also brought out an unprecedented sense of unity, as fundraising livestreams, new releases and artist chats remind us that “we’re all in this together“.
