Of The Trees Debuts New Concept Park Service In The Windy City

American bass artist Of The Trees officially kicked off his highly anticipated three-city event series, Park Service, this past weekend. The inaugural stop brought a unique, nature-centric experience to one of the Midwest’s most vibrant electronic music hubs: Chicago.

On Saturday, May 30th, the producer behind the Moonglade Park project transformed The Salt Shed into an immersive electronic garden. The event featured a stellar lineup of support acts, including Jade Cicada, Chmura, and Snuffy, setting the stage for a night defined by heavy bass and organic aesthetics.

Nature Walk and Community Engagement

The Park Service experience began well before the doors opened at the venue. Led by Just Neeks, the team hosted a nature walk through Grant Park and Millennium Park in Downtown Chicago. This initiative allowed fans to connect in a relaxed setting, fostering a sense of community that extended into the evening. As a special touch, the first 50 attendees were gifted an exclusive Park Service patch.

Production and Atmosphere

The Salt Shed provided the perfect backdrop for the sold-out event. The production design was a standout element, featuring moss and grass structures that gave the outdoor stage the feel of a living, breathing ecosystem. Dynamic lighting beams and suspended, light-up plant pots created a surreal, garden-like atmosphere that perfectly complemented the music.

The visuals remained true to the artist’s brand, blending natural landscapes with high-tech effects. Of The Trees delivered a set that felt like a seamless integration of Mother Nature and modern club culture. Fans were also treated to several upcoming IDs, including a highly anticipated collaboration with Tape B.

Camp Alderwild and Future Horizons

The Park Service series is a key component of the broader Moonglade Park era. This creative chapter also includes the return of Camp Alderwild, scheduled for August 28–29, 2026, in Telluride, Colorado. Since its debut in 2025, Camp Alderwild has established itself as a significant cultural moment for the San Juan Mountains, reinforcing the artist’s commitment to nature and his role as a leading voice in the bass music scene.
