Following a code red heat warning issued by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), organizers have coordinated with local government officials to adjust the event schedule. To prioritize the health and safety of all attendees, artists, and staff, the festival will now begin at 18:00, effectively avoiding the most intense temperatures of the day.
Due to existing event permits, the festival is required to conclude by 23:00. Organizers are currently working to reorganize the daily schedule, with updated lineup information expected to be released shortly. The long-running trance event, which takes place annually at Bernie’s Beach Club in Zandvoort, Netherlands, remains a cornerstone of the summer festival season.
This decision follows the recent cancellation of Defqon.1, which was also forced to shut down due to extreme weather conditions.
