Today, dance music powerhouse John Summit announces his North American CTRL ESCAPE arena tour. The expansive run will bring Summit’s boundary-pushing album to life on his biggest run of shows to date. Kicking off in October, Summit will make stops at major arenas across the country, including Chicago, Miami, Brooklyn, and Boston. The tour will feature a new production concept that reflects Summit’s forward-thinking approach, creating an immersive, larger-than-life atmosphere for this next era of his career.
CTRL ESCAPE, released earlier this year on April 15, pushes creative boundaries by fusing a wide array of genres, from heavy-hitting tech-house to dubstep and drum & bass. The body of work serves as a portrait of the artist’s current life—balancing the intensity of stadium gigs with the intimate club shows that maintain his connection to his day-one fans.
In the lead-up to the album, Summit delivered a series of standout pop-ups across Los Angeles, New York City, and Colorado, including a sold-out open-to-close set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He also made significant appearances at the Do LaB stage at Coachella and delivered a historic closing set on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival.
Following his international performances in Bali, Bangkok, and South Africa, Summit is set to make his Ibiza residency debut this summer at [UNVRS] Ibiza, followed by a headline performance at Lollapalooza. In September, he will return to New York City for the highly anticipated second edition of his Experts Only Festival.
