Drumcode’s acclaimed EP series, DC4, continues its impressive run, delivering an all-collaborative feast that highlights both established heavyweights and rising talent. The fourth edition of the series brings together a diverse array of artists, including Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein, Charles D & Weska featuring Bexxie, alongside debutants SCRIPT & OKAYVAL and Martin Costas & Gabriel Gil.
Since its inception in the summer of 2025, the DC4 series has maintained a clear mission: providing a platform for elite, high-impact tracks. The latest volume is no exception, offering four distinct cuts that showcase the label’s commitment to quality techno.
A Collaborative Showcase
The EP opens with a powerhouse collaboration between Victor Ruiz and Alex Stein. The Brazilian duo, known for their frequent studio chemistry, delivers ‘Core’—a track defined by its intricate dramatic arc and brain-scrambling sound design. Following this, Charles D and Weska team up for ‘Can’t Get Enough,’ featuring the vocal talents of Bexxie. Bridging the gap between progressive house and techno, the track is anchored by low-slung, driving grooves and a compelling vocal performance.
Fresh Faces on Drumcode
The release also marks the label debut for SCRIPT and OKAYVAL. SCRIPT, an American artist gaining significant traction following a collaboration with Alok, joins forces with OKAYVAL, a Colombian-born, US-based producer who has made waves at major festivals like EDC Vegas and Tomorrowland this year. Their contribution, ‘LIKE THAT,’ is a high-energy production characterized by tight, rolling percussion and a sharp vocal loop.
Rounding out the EP, Martin Costas and Gabriel Gil present ‘It’s All Around.’ This track offers a pulsating, melodic take on progressive techno, utilizing lush textures and hypnotic rhythms to create a versatile piece suitable for a variety of dancefloor environments.
