Speaking abut the track, the talented artist said:
I wrote this song when I was in a very dark place in my life and writing it became a cathartic experience allowing me to grow through my pain. I wanted the music to reflect the growth and to become more complex throughout the song adding ad libs and ornaments. The sound is inspired by some of my favorite artists like SG Lewis, LANY, and the 1975.
