Sam Harwood-White – ‘If I Were Wise’

Nineteen-year-old UK artist Sam Harwood-White recently shared the title track to his debut album, ‘If I Were Wise’. The stunning jazz tune grabs you from the start as Sam takes you into this magical world.

Speaking about the song and album, Sam said:

The title song exhibits my love of jazz with a piano trio and saxophone, while the rest of the album showcases jazz influences in other styles, including pop and soft rock.

Taking inspiration from Jamie Cullum’s ‘Taller’, the album is written as an honest portrayal of strong emotionality and the vulnerability that comes with it. Encapsulating the sentiment of its title song, it explores the feelings of love and regret from a very personal perspective, but hopes to resonate with raw emotions in you, the listener, and with any stories you may have of your own.
