I immediately fell in love with Lagoon Wavey’s voice. The Barbados-based Alt-R&B artist has delivered a beautifully crafted track that demands more than just one listen.
Speaking about the track, he said:
”Cliffside is the push and pull of being at your wits end for the sake of love, knowing you’ve had enough but still yearning for the person you’re with. The chord progressions accent the highs and lows of the chorus and bridge, invoking heartfelt emotions for the listener, ending the song off with a chanting backup vocal and a poem from lagoon.”
