Danish artist JuWehl shares new single ‘Dancer’

JuWehl has transported me to a place I never want to leave with his new single, ‘Dancer’. As the artist says, he likes to write absurd weird, funky, and unconventional love songs. There’s nothing absurd or weird about this track, but it’s giving that funky Neo-Soul vibe. It’s one of those songs guaranteed to pull you to the dance floor while you fall in love with everything around you.

Hear it below.

‘Dancer’ was heavily inspired by the character Barney Stinson from the series ‘how I met your mother’ who fell in love with a stripper. The beat is produced by Laust Juel of ‘Nobody beats the beats’ and serves as a juxtaposition with its uplifting and chilled vibe which supports the song’s bitter-sweet and one-sided love narrative.

Like Barney says “Every night between 9 pm and 4 am I’m in hell” only moments later to reveal that he’s mad in love.
