Rising South Korean act ALL(H)OURS continue to soar to new heights with their latest EP, NO DOUBT, a project that encapsulates the necessity of moving forward with confidence, even when the path ahead remains uncertain. Brimming with the resilience showcased in their title track, “DEAD MAN WALKING,” the EP spans a diverse range of genres and emotions, marking a significant milestone as the group maintains the creative momentum generated by their successful first North American tour.
In a recent conversation, the members of the group reflected on how their sound has evolved, the thrill of experimenting with new musical textures, and the deeply rewarding moments that have defined their journey thus far.
The core message of NO DOUBT is one of unwavering persistence. As member KUNHO explains, the album serves as a testament to moving forward without self-doubt, even amidst the anxiety and confusion that often accompany artistic growth. “While preparing for the album, there were times when we doubted ourselves and faced uncertainty,” KUNHO shares. “But in those moments, we were able to keep going, thanks to our fans, Min(ut)es, who have constantly supported us, as well as inspiration from our own passion and hard work.”
When discussing their sonic evolution, the group emphasizes a commitment to identity. ON:N notes that they have been actively incorporating various genres into the K-pop framework to cultivate a sound that is uniquely their own. “Through our second and third albums, we have been establishing our identity with powerful noise music,” ON:N says. “Moving forward, we plan to continue expanding our musical spectrum by exploring various genres while developing stronger, more diverse sounds to support impactful performances.”
The EP also highlights the individual tastes and contributions of the members. Tracks like “Piece of Me” and “Cause I’m Insane” emerged as favorites, with members citing the R&B influences and the personal nature of the songwriting as key highlights. XAYDEN, who participated in the composition and lyric writing for “Cause I’m Insane,” notes that the track is particularly special because it captures the raw ups and downs of their trainee days.
Reflecting on their recent North American tour, the group expressed deep gratitude for the experience. For HYUNBIN, the tour was a transformative encounter with new cultures, landscapes, and, most importantly, the dedicated support of their international fanbase. “The moments when Min(ut)es in North America showed us so much love and support are what I remember the most,” HYUNBIN says.
Looking ahead, the group remains eager to push boundaries. YOUMIN expressed a desire to experiment further with hip-hop, specifically mentioning an interest in exploring boom bap-style beats to showcase a cooler, edgier side of their artistry. As they continue to evolve, ALL(H)OURS remain focused on their core values: coolness, charm, and undeniable skill.
