Ottawa-based indie rock and dream pop artist Eau the Music has unveiled “In This Silence,” the first single from her forthcoming debut album, Light in the Dark, due out on October 16. Written, produced, and mixed entirely by Ophelie Quraishi, the creative force behind the project, the track offers an intimate introduction to an artist whose music is rooted in reflection, resilience, and emotional honesty.

Her meticulous production style is reflected in arrangements that often feature between fifty and two hundred layered tracks, while preserving spontaneous performances whenever a single take captured the emotion she was searching for.
