Brazilian producer Viot joins Max Styler‘s Nu Moda imprint for the first time with his new double-sided single, “Flex / Cardio.” Designed to soundtrack different stages of a night out, the two-track release showcases the Brazil-based artist’s refined take on deep tech house while highlighting the versatility that has made him one of the country’s fastest-rising electronic music talents.
Since launching his project in 2021, Viot has steadily built a reputation for blending influences from bossa nova, techno, Brazilian hip-hop, pop, and house into a polished, club-focused sound. His attention to detail and appreciation for art, fashion, and music have helped shape a distinctive style that continues to resonate with DJs and dancefloors around the world.
Leading the release is “Flex,” a dark, peak-time deep tech weapon built for the busiest moments of the night. Anchored by a hypnotic, staccato bassline, the track revolves around a memorable rap-inspired vocal hook influenced by classic UK MC culture. Echoing vocal chops, crisp percussion, hissing hi-hats, intermittent hoover synths, and tension-building risers combine to create an energetic, after-hours atmosphere that keeps the momentum locked in from start to finish.
Its companion piece, “Cardio,” shifts the focus to the immersive hours when dancers become completely absorbed in the music. Rolling basslines, stripped-back synth loops, hypnotic grooves, and sporadic vocal chops create a deeper, more understated journey, capturing the sensation of losing yourself on the dancefloor as the night reaches full stride.
The release arrives amid a period of rapid growth for Viot, whose catalog includes collaborations with Vintage Culture, Gabe, and Illusionize. His productions have earned support from influential names including Michael Bibi, The Martinez Brothers, BLOND:ISH, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and Diplo.
“Flex and Cardio are my way of translating the energy and excitement of a night out into music,” says Viot. “To me, Flex represents that peak-time moment on the dancefloor, while Cardio captures the point when the night starts heating up, and the energy begins to build.”
With “Flex / Cardio,” Viot delivers a pair of expertly crafted club records that reflect two distinct moments of the nightlife experience. His debut on Nu Moda not only highlights his evolving artistry but also positions him among the next wave of producers shaping the future of modern tech house.
