London-based producer Joss Dean has officially entered a significant new chapter in his career with his debut release on Insomniac Records. The 19-year-old artist has unveiled “GANGSTA,” a stripped-back, high-impact single that underscores his rapid ascent within the UK underground scene.
Since launching his project in 2024, Joss Dean has garnered attention for his sharp, minimal tech productions. “GANGSTA” serves as a testament to this evolution, driven by deep, low-slung grooves and precise percussion. The track features a darker sonic palette, characterized by hypnotic vocal sampling and eerie melodic textures. With its circular lead motifs and subtle modulations, the production creates a tense, rolling energy specifically engineered for both intimate club settings and expansive festival stages.

Beyond his studio output, the producer has maintained a rigorous touring schedule. This summer, he is slated to perform at OFFSÓNAR Festival and make a highly anticipated debut at Circoloco. His live presence has already been solidified through performances alongside Max Dean and Luke Dean at The Warehouse Project, as well as supporting Jamie Jones at his Paradise residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza.
