Following a high-energy weekend of surprise appearances during sets from Dabin, William Black, and the GRiZ B2B Wooli showcase at EDC Las Vegas, ILLENIUM has officially unveiled the final special guests for the closing chapter of his ODYSSEY residency at Sphere.
Rising bass star ALLEYCVT is set to join the performance on July 3, while the heavy bass powerhouse Sullivan King will take the stage on July 4. These final dates mark the conclusion of a residency that has redefined the standards for immersive live electronic music, following a series of sold-out shows throughout March and April.
A Cinematic Neo-Space Opera
Built upon the foundation of his latest album, ODYSSEY, released via Republic Records, the production at Sphere serves as one of the most ambitious creative endeavors in the artist’s career. Rather than a traditional concert, the show functions as a fully realized “neo-space opera,” exploring profound themes of rebirth, emotional transformation, and self-acceptance.
The narrative arc follows a phoenix rising from the ashes, leading into a journey featuring two female warriors who traverse surreal landscapes, wormholes, and distant planets. This hero’s journey is woven directly into the musical fabric of the performance, creating a cohesive experience that resonates with the audience on an emotional level.
Musical and Visual Innovation
The setlist highlights material from ODYSSEY, including tracks such as “Feels Like You,” “Love Is A Chemical,” and “Monster.” Fans can also expect fan-favorite collaborations, including “Don’t Want Your Love” with Ellie Goulding, “Feel Live” with Bastille and Dabin, and “In My Arms” alongside HAYLA and Wooli. The show also features a notable live string quartet accompaniment during the performance of “Die Living,” his collaboration with David Guetta and Dustin Lynch.
Visually, the production pushes the technological limits of the Sphere. Developed in partnership with Berlin-based studio Woodblock and Sphere Studios, the show utilizes the venue’s ultra-high-resolution LED display and advanced immersive audio to blur the lines between a live concert, a feature film, and an interactive art installation.
The residency has garnered significant critical acclaim, with outlets like Billboard comparing the experience to a blend of Blade Runner and Final Fantasy. By transforming the venue into a cinematic universe, ILLENIUM continues to push the boundaries of what large-scale electronic music storytelling can achieve.
Limited tickets for the final ODYSSEY dates remain available via the official Sphere Las Vegas website.
