I have just added ringgold to my Ones to Watch playlist because after just one listen of his new track, ‘Keeping My Distance, I know this young artist is someone I need to keep my eyes and ears on.
This track is spectacular and one that needs to be played everywhere.

“I started working on this song back in 2018, shortly after I graduated from college. It was a tumultuous time in my life, and I found solace in pop music. The music I wrote that year was a means of catharsis for me and I didn’t have any intention of taking the songs further. But recently, I came back to them with a clearer mind and wanted to hear them fully formed. The goal of this project is to explore every corner of pop music as a method of catharsis, and “Keeping My Distance” is the buoyant and bittersweet gateway into it.” – ringgold
