The Circuit Group, a leading collective of world-class artist managers known for transforming creative vision into global ventures, has announced the launch of Red Wire Publishing, a new division focused on providing boutique music publishing services to artists and songwriters worldwide.

The new division is spearheaded by David Gray, co-founder and partner at The Circuit Group, who will relocate to Nashville, Tennessee, while maintaining Red Wire’s headquarters in Los Angeles. Gray brings extensive experience in artist management and music business leadership, having co-founded AYITA Management, where he manages artists including Noizu, Camden Cox (GRAMMY-nominated), Sarah de Warren, Avedon (GRAMMY-winning), and composer Ursine Vulpine. Unlike traditional large-scale publishers, Red Wire is built on a boutique ethos rooted in artist management, emphasizing creative development and long-term growth over sheer volume.

The division’s first signings highlight its global and forward-thinking vision, including UK songwriter and vocalist Stevie Appleton (Tiësto, John Summit, Lost Frequencies), Nariman Akrami (Chris Lake, Sammy Virji, Eli Brown, Carlita), GRAMMY-winning UK producer Alex Metric (Dua Lipa, Daft Punk, Silk City), chart-topping house DJ Secondcity, rising tech house talent Tommy Cooperman of HILLS, LA-based multi-instrumentalist Galo, and Mexico City duo RØZ, known for their genre-blending approach to Latin electronic music.

Red Wire was born from our management-first philosophy—helping artists not just get deals done, but build careers over the long term,” said David Gray, President of Red Wire. “We’re not interested in being the biggest publisher. We want to be the most effective and the most trusted, hyper-focused on developing talent and creating opportunities for our clients. Partnering with Kobalt gives us world-class infrastructure while keeping our boutique and hands-on approach intact.”

At launch, Red Wire administers over 300 copyrights, with global rights management powered by Kobalt, providing clients with transparency, detailed reporting, and efficient collections through Kobalt’s industry-leading platform.

“Our focus is on maintaining a selective roster of writers we’re truly passionate about, while our talented team ensures those clients are serviced at the highest level,” said Charlie Tadman, Director of A&R at The Circuit Group. “Representing names like Stevie Appleton, Nari, Alex Metric, and Secondcity, we boast a powerhouse lineup contributing to some of today’s most in-demand artist projects. With recent cuts for FISHER, Chris Lake, Sammy Virji, Diplo, bbyclose, and more, our roster continues to define the cutting edge of dance music and beyond.”
