After a five-year hiatus, Insomniac has announced that EDC Korea will make its grand return on April 25-26, 2025, at a new home, Inspire Entertainment Resort.
Insomniac is gearing up for a major presence in Asia next year. Following the recent announcement of EDC Thailand in Phuket, they have now revealed another exciting event in South Korea, highlighting Asia’s growth as a hotbed for music festivals. After a five-year hiatus, EDC Korea is teaming up with Pulse Events to make a grand return on April 25-26, 2025, at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon, just outside Seoul.
In the lead-up to the announcement, Insomniac spent weeks teasing fans on social media by reviving their channels and launching a sign-up page for the fans to get the latest updates. This fueled excitement and generated immense buzz about the forthcoming edition. Today, they finally revealed the news after sharing a teaser clip of the festival with Pasquale Rotella, promising a “unique, special experience that you’ve never seen before” with the caption, “Our Korea return is on the horizon.”
In 2019, EDC Korea made its highly anticipated debut at Seoulland, attracting over 90,000 dance music fans over the two-day weekend. Unfortunately, its 2020 edition was put on hold and later canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, fans can expect its return in 2025 to be its boldest and biggest one yet, as it will be an electrifying experience with multiple stages, stunning production elements, and top-tier artists across various genres at its new home.
While the lineup is yet to be revealed, artists who played in the inaugural edition of EDC Korea included deadmau5, Alesso, Dillon Francis, Excision, Alan Fitzpatrick, Mercer, ARTBAT, and more. So keep your eyes peeled for next year’s artists lineup!
