Nashville, Tennessee seems to have taken the onus as a part of the live music return initiative. Phase two of its reopening agenda will see the resumption of live music. That, however, does not signal the arrival of the enormous festivals or events with stringent guidelines in place. The plan lays out an operational conduct of 75 percent capacity for restaurants and performance venues.

This Monday, May 25th, we will move on to Phase 2 of reopening Nashville. All public health metrics have shown satisfactory results.

With an attendance that should not exceed twenty-five at a time, only two artists are allowed on stage. This is as per the new set of rules obtained by Digital Music News. A minimum of teen feet separation is a mandate between performers and attendees at any point of time. No dance floors are to be operational at all. Sanitizing of equipment post performance is also a compulsory requirement.

Nashville recently declared 26 new cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County as per The Metro Public Health Department. This phase of its re-opening is seeing a host of restarts including retail stores, salons and gyms with quantity stipulations in place. Consequently, it remains to be seen if the surge in case numbers could be still reined in with these protocols in place.
