Today started off very heavy for many of us with the news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman and as I dive into my submissions, Dax’s ‘I Need A Break’ was the first one in the queue and I just thought how fitting is this.
While Dax addresses heartbreak about things he has been through in his life, I just feel like this is how all of us black people feel with all that has happened. We need a damn break.
We also need good music to get us through this and that is what Dax ALWAYS gives.
