2018 was a curler coaster of a 12 months for the Dutch group Dash Berlin. Until June 2018, DJ Jeffrey Sutorius and producers Eelke Kalberg and Sebastian Molijn had made up the powerhouse group.
After a collection of cancelled reveals in late spring of 2018, frontman Sutorius broke the silence to inform followers that he was splitting from the group. Sutorius acknowledged that Kalberg and Molijn compelled him out of the group after the 2 registered the “Dash Berlin” identify beneath their very own names with out Sutorius. This left Sutorius legally unable to DJ and carry out beneath the identify “Dash Berlin”.
Thus a bevy of well-publicized drama ensues, together with Sutorius being blocked from his social media accounts, his announcement to carry out solo, and his second press launch stating years of mismanagement and neglect. The infighting and drama has left many Dash Berlin followers questioning if the group was over for good.
However, on December 28th, Kalberg and Molijn replied to a fan’s tweet that extra music is popping out in 2019.
Coming in 2019 😉
