Spotify’s decision to remove R. Kelly and XXXTentacion’s music from their playlists has shaken up the music industry. The company did so under its new Hate Content & Hateful Conduct policy. Now we’ve learned they’ve also removed Tay-K’s music.
Tay — who scored a hit last year with “The Race” — is currently locked up and facing two murder charges. One for a home invasion that took place two years ago in Texas and another one for a killing that happened after a 2015 Daytona Boyz concert.
On Thursday, the 17-year-old responded to Spotify’s decision and wondered why his music was removed since he’s yet to be convicted anything.
