Remy Ma Still Heartbroken After Orlando Massacre: "That Could Have Easily Been A Loved One Of Mines"

Terror Squad’s Remy Ma has stepped forward with a personal message in the wake of this month’s horrific Orlando nightclub shooting.

Remy went to Instagram last night (June 21) and penned an emotional note about the fatal hate crime.

I did a performance a few nights ago in Providence, Rhode Island, a PRIDE block party to be exact…& needless to say, it was AMAZING!!! However, I was just going through my messages & a fan told me they really wanted to come see me but they was too scared due to the recent events in Orlando. This truly breaks my heart. I have NEVER did a Pride or LGBT event that wasn't packed from wall to wall with lines around the corner, EVER. Many of my most loyal fans & some of my closest friends are a part of the gay community (which I feel makes me a part of it too😊). My heart goes out to everyone affected by the tragedy in Florida; that could have easily been a loved one of mines & I'm positive someone in that building was a #RemyMa fan. & to the person who was afraid to come see me, Thank you…you have opened my eyes & my heart- hope we meet one day soon😘 #RemyMafia #AllTheWayUp #DontLetHatersScareYouAway #NothingCanStopYou Tattoo on @jessbradio

Hate is at an all time high right now. This is exactly why we cant allow Donald Trump to be president. The bigots and racists of America have rallied around him, fueling exactly the type of fire that makes something like this possible. In this election, we all need to vote to literally save our own lives and those of the people we love.
