Kanye West reportedly won’t be taking to the stage at this weekend’s (14-16Apr17) Coachella Festival.
Fans had speculated the Stronger rapper would make a welcome return to live music at the annual festival in California, having last graced a stage in November.
Shortly after this performance he was hospitalized at the University California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
But reports have confirmed Kanye will not be playing at Coachella.
Rumors about a possible appearance at the festival, which attracts an A-list crowd every year, started because Kanye’s involvement on hip-hop star ScHoolboy Q’s track “THat Part,” as well as his collaborations with Travis Scott.
Both performers are part the Coachella 2017 line-up.
All might not be lost though, as Kanye surprised fans at the festival in 2016 when he jumped on stage with A$AP Rocky.
The two weekend event, which kicks f on Friday (April 14), will see acts including Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead play sets.
