Gucci Mane is celebrating his 38th birthday today and more good news is coming his way. Gucci Mane released his autobiography last year which did huge numbers in sales. Well word is now Gucci Mane’s story will be made into a biopic.
Paramount Pictures will be teaming up with Imagine Entertainment for the project. Imagine is known for producing the Fox hit show “Empire,” and also Eminem’s 2002 film “8 Mile.”
The studio reportedly has received the life rights to Gucci Mane, as well as the movie rights to his book, which will be made through the Paramount Players arms.
Gucci Mane will produce the project alongside Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Erica Huggins, and Todd Moskowitz will serve as the executive producer.
Gucci’s book went on to become a New York Times Best Seller, as he used his words to talk about the ups and down’s throughout his life, and how he rose to be where he is today.
